How to play the MEMO GAMES card game Washington, D.C. The main card game rules for fun family nights and learning in play. Goal: Memorize the placement of cards as you play to collect more pairs of cards than others! Setup: Shuffle and lay 50 cards out in a grid face-down. Gameplay: You take turns flipping two cards each. If you find a matching pair, snag them off the board and get another turn. If the cards don't match, flip them back over. The turn passes to the next player. Keep the fun until all the pairs have been matched and cleared off the board. You win if you end up with the most pairs.
Special MEMO Rules and twists for MEMO GAMES card game Washington, D.C. When you are down to 10 cards on the grid, give them a shuffle, lay them back out face-down again, and continue the game. If you flip Gold Card #1, "The White House,” you have an extra turn, even if the next card you flip doesn't match up. If you flip Silver Card #2, "The Capitol,” you have two chances to find its twin. Flip a second card. If it's a match, continue as usual. If it's a miss, you get one more flip. Strike out twice? Pass the baton to the next player. HEADS UP: Each player can use the superpower of the GOLD and SILVER CARDS only once per game.

More Ways to Play MEMO. Goal: Grab as many cards as you can! Setup: Split up the paired cards. Keep only 25 unique ones – one of each design. Shuffle and lay them face-down in a stack. Gameplay: Players take a turn by flipping one card at a time. If you can name the item pictured on the card, snag it. If not, it goes back to the bottom of the pile. Next player's up! Keep the fun going until all the cards are gone. The player with the most cards wins!
